This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful parts of the world – featured in many Top Ten lists of international travellers – and somewhere we have loved for many years before moving here in 2016. Being on the St David’s Peninsula is extra special, with stunning coastal walks (carpeted in spring with wild flowers),  lots of galleries and local artists of all types, the breathtaking sight of the cathedral of St David’s and the quaint harbour villages and rural white-washed cottages and farms.  Once visited, never forgotten!

We have two B&B rooms named after famous feisty Welsh women:

Jemima: A double bed in a nice big light room with a French feel and bathroom en suite.  Jemima Nicholas, armed with only a pitchfork, single-handedly rounded up 12 French soldiers invading Fishguard; they surrendered shortly afterwards at the Royal Oak.

Rebecca:  A large twin-bedded room with a seaside feel and shower room en-suite.      Rebecca's daughters were men dressed as women who resisted exorbitant landowner's highway tolls  in the 1830's

While you’re staying you will of course have free entry to the Daisybus Gardens.

Why not hire the Daisybus for trips to the beach?  60 a day includes free parking at Whitesands Beach.  The bus has a small fridge for your lunch and drinks as well as bodyboards, beach ball, windbreak, beach mats, chairs and bucket & spade.  Be cool on the beach and keep your own car clean!
