The Daisybus Gardens of Wellbeing are a series of small gardens based on Sarah's  book Sunshine Over Clover – Gardens of Wellbeing (available here). For over 20 years Sarah has researched and explored the phenomenon of wellbeing experienced by gardeners and continues to write on the subject. You can read Sarah's blog here and her contributions to the Creative Countryside Journal here.  Our photo galleries are here.

The garden is an unusual ‘Show How, Show Why’ garden rather than the traditional ‘Show Off’ garden.  It is designed with the beginner gardener in mind in an attempt to share the benefits of a deeper connection with nature with the uninitiated.   Through opening the garden from the very early days (we started the garden in October 2016) we aim to share the workings of how to make a garden – and to provide inspiration and ideas to get you started. We also welcome experienced gardeners who might like to share their knowledge and personal tips and experience in the ‘Helpful Hut’.  The garden will continually expand: we hope the whole place will be enjoyable to all.

The garden aims to show how everyone can enjoy gardening and reap the many benefits of a closer connection with nature.  The indvidual gardens are all simple designs, easy to copy and fun to make – so come along, be inspired, and start an exciting new relationship with your garden!

You  can have afternoon tea in the herbal tea garden, browse our gardening books in the Tea Room, or pick up a Garden Recipe to follow at home. You can read how gardening has improved people’s lives in Sarah’s book, available here
